We spend hours every month updating our database of hosting companies. We gather the following information: price, bandwidth, disk space, ad credits, setup fees, server latency, support response time, refund policies, age, Better Business Bureau complaints, support hours, and overall site popularity. Once this information is retrieved, we store it into a database to be used with a ranking algorithm we have developed to determine the best hosting service by giving calculating a score to each aspect of a web hosting company. There scores are weighted based on their importance and what means the most to the majority of web hosting customers. This method ensures an unbiased ranking of hosting companies with minimal human involvement.
