Finding a good hosting service used to be very difficult. It used to involve trial and error - most webmasters know the hassle of having to move all of their sites to a new server after signing up with a bad hosting service. This site was created to assist individuals with finding the best hosting service available for their money. If this is your first time building a site, I would suggest finding a domain name first before signing up with a hosting service. I register all of my domains with GoDaddy and Yahoo (both have a $1.99 domain registration promotion).
